Joe Taylor, head coach of the FAMU Rattlers football team, is Coach of the Week. Taylor has been real humble throughout his career. He knows the wins are nice, but developing young men means so much more. With his record, he could have coached on any level. But Taylor has carved his own niche at the HBCU level. His professionalism and accomplishments have earned him the respect of his peers.

"Joe has distinguished himself as a great coach," said Villanova head coach Andy Talley. "He's also a great man. He's a former president of the American Football Coaches Association. He's an established leader in the profession. To make it to the top of your profession, he's done a marvelous job at Hampton. Now, he's at Florida A&M. He's an outstanding gentleman. The 200-[win] milestone is a Hall of Fame deal right there."

    That says it all.
